Why I am leaving my wonderful family and beautiful Southern California to serve a mission
I love this gospel. It is truly the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have felt the pure joy that comes from this gospel. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and knows me as his child. I know that with the help of angels Joseph Smith restored the full gospel of Jesus Christ to this earth. I know that my Savior died and atoned for my sins and sorrows and that He will take my burdens upon himself. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. I know that my Heavenly Father would not give me a calling that I cannot handle, it says so in 1 Nephi 3:7. I have seen the light of the gospel bless my life in so many ways in Luke 11:33 it says:
33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
I am going on a mission because I want to share this light. I will not put it in a secret place or under a bush. For the next 18 months I will hold the light of the gospel up for all the Romanians to see! That is why I am going on a mission. Here I will post my adventures!
